Negative taken for July 22, 1959, Arkansas Gazette article "Those Greyhounds Are Fast-and Noisy," B1:2. Southland dog track is located in West Memphis, Crittenden County, Arkansas. Paul Hartwell is the manager of the track. Deane discovered that dogs hunt by sight mostly and that is the reason for the track's decoy rabbit that the dogs chase around the track.
